Publicis Groupe is engaged in supporting the United Nations SDGs, and is committed to bringing our creative support to SDG 2 – Zero Hunger.
On paper, “Zero Hunger” should be easily achievable. In reality, there is a state of emergency. People are still starving, but also many don’t have access to nutritious food. To achieve SDG2, it will require effort from everyone, everywhere. The scope of action is very broad and many actors are already engaged. We are focusing our attention on four areas: better nutrition, food security, food waste and sustainable agriculture.
We are encouraging our 80,000 people around the world to contribute to this global effort, and to have a positive impact on this project through dedicated initiatives and activities. Additionally, we will engage clients, partners, suppliers and individuals. “Zero Hunger” has to be solved in a sustainable and robust way with the cooperation of many bodies, organisations and citizens. It’s a long and complex journey worth tireless commitment.
